The Dell Inspiron i7359-8404SLV is a fast touchscreen laptop with great features. It has modern hardware, and best of all, it is flexible. The display and keyboard are connected by a hinge that rotates 360 degrees, so you can use the computer as a laptop, as a tablet, or in stand mode. Dell is known for building reliable laptops – those that can survive your lifestyle. This laptop offers excellent performance, speed, and plenty of storage in a durable package that runs on Windows 10, the newest operating system from Microsoft. It has a long battery life and is light enough to carry anywhere.

The screen is a 13.3” Full HD (FHD) LED backlit touchscreen display with Truelife and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It uses in-plane-switching (IPS) technology for a great viewing angle. There is a built-in stylus. The processor is the sixth generation Intel Core i7-6500U, a dual core ULV (ultra low voltage) SoC (silicon on a chip) based on Intel’s latest 14nm Skylake architecture. It was released in September 2015. Due to Hyperthreading, the two cores can handle up to four threads in parallel, which improves the CPU utilization. Skylake replaces Haswell and Broadwell, and the performance per clock has increased by about 5 percent. The integrated graphics are called HD Graphics 520. The base speed is 2.5 GHz, and it can increase to 3.1 GHz. Skylake has optimized prefetching and branch prediction, and out-of-order buffers. The integrated graphics are called HD Graphics 520.

The laptop comes with a generous 8 GB DDR3L RAM, which is plenty for excellent multi-tasking. This is twice the amount that is typically found in today’s modern computers. This will support good video playback, and let you run multiple programs simultaneously with no degradation in performance.

There is a 256 GB solid state drive. Although smaller than traditional rotational drives, it is more than enough for all of your programs and work-in-progress files. The advantage of the solid state drive is that there are no rotating parts. Instead, the storage uses flash memory, which is fast – you can access your data more than twice as fast than from a rotational hard drive. This also provides for fast boot times. In just a few seconds, you can be up and running on Windows 10 and interacting with the internet. If you want more storage, you can always connect an external hard drive.
For connecting devices, there are three USB ports, two of which are USB 3.0, which transfers data ten times faster than USB 2.0. For wirelessly connecting peripherals, the machine has Bluetooth. You could, for example, connect external speakers wirelessly using Bluetooth. The machine has no optical drive, neither DVD drive nor a Blu-ray player. You could purchase an external Blu-ray drive and connect it using one of the USB 3.0 ports. The computer weighs a light 3.7 lb. The sound is by Waves MaxxAudio. This laptop/tablet combination supports Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, which is the fastest wireless available.

The Dell Inspiron i7359-8404SLV is a fast, flexible, and powerful 13.3” computer that is well-suited for your mobile lifestyle. It is a modern laptop in every sense, and it will serve your needs for several years to come.
